Who all is spraying 200 through 20920 NX kit?

I'm getting ready to bump up to this and I was wondering others' experiences with it? What jet combo did you use? How'd it perform? Etc.

Thanks.

Re: Who all is spraying 200 through 20920 NX kit?

I sprayed 220 through an NX kit for a while...... What I did was, I bought another fuel and nitrous solenoid, and another nozzel. I tried to tune 200 out of one nozzel. I think it could be done but it was surging on the dyno with the huge jets we were using.
If you wanted to save some $ I think the solenoids would flow enough, maybee just run another nozzel.
Hope this helps..... it worked really well for me......

wnated to ask the same question I have only run a 150. Is it possible to go 200 on the nx kit. Do you have to change any lines?

From what I've heard 200 is about the max on stock lines and noids from the 20920 kit.

Nostang, do you recall what jet sizes you used?

Thanks for the replies all, keep them coming.

The jet size I used was 78n and 62 f ( I run a 10 psi separate fuel cell). Sorry to mention but I also have upgraded 4an lines for fuel and n2o and also a pro power selenoid upgrade. I do know that RacinLt1 has sprayed a 200 through that kit though.

Best regards,

The standard NX20920 will work up to 250hp. Anything above that and you have use a -4 nitrous line from the noid to the nozzle. 200hp is no problem with that kit. Just run good fuel and watch for detonation.

Do you know the recommended jet sizes for this kit for 200 on stock lines?

Sure the stock lines can handle it.

rickey are you refering to at flywheel or to the tires. I could not make more the 178 to the wheels no matter how i pilled up it just ran fatter. I talked to jon phillips at sema and he told me i needed to go to a -4 from the noid to nozzel to make make any more power.

I am with SLP223. To get 200 to the rear wheels with that kit is pretty tough. I tried trust me. Hours on the dyno, changing timing, fuel pressure, air to fuel ratio, etc. etc.

Two words, diminishing returns, when trying to get above 175 to the wheels.

Where is the peak of how much power a motor add with a single nozzel. and engine can only inhale so much air. at some point it maxes out. if you have a seat of stock heads you can pick up power going to a bigger cam, but if the swap the big cam for an even bigger cam you might not pick up any power because the engine can only flow so much air. the point you reach when when that bigger cam adds no benefit.

It's not an issue of the motor not being able to swallow a 200 shot, it's an issue of the kit being able to provide it.

No, it is definitely both. The motor has limitations, intake track, cam, etc.
