I'm wiring in my Accel 375+ unit to control some of the nitrous functions. Can it be mounted in the engine compartment? I know the instructions say not to but my 300+ box is (down on the inner fender near the pcm away from header and radiator heat). It would be so much easier to mount the 375+ near the 300+ for wiring purposes. To mount it inside the car will be a PITA. BTW, it is not a daily driver so it will stay dry. Has anyone done this with success or am I asking to fry it? Thanks! Can't wait to get it all wired up to try the new NX system. Here I come 11s!

 

I mounted mine in the center console. And yes, it was a major PITA. I had to make my own harness for it and solder and heat shrink all the connections. It wasn't fun, but it's safe now. I really wanted to mount it under the hood, but it would have only taken one time to get it wet and it would be toast. Good luck.
