Where/How to mount shark nozzle
Where/How to mount shark nozzle
First of, my kit didn't come with the mounting nut for the nozzle, but some people say to use it and some say not to, for $18 im going to get one, unless you all tell me its worthless. In case you dont know what Im talking about, its a nut and bolt with a whole in it that you screw the nozzle into.
Where should I mount this, I have an SS with the factory ram air box, and its not going to be a hidden system, so I would like it to be where ever it will create the best power and be consistant.
BTW: Pics are worth a 1000 words

Use the nozzle nut, easiest and seals best.
Mount it:
where it won't spray across the IAT sensor
back from the TB blades at least 4" (mine is in the side of the Moroso airbox)
anywhere that you can route the lines to it, and not interfere with moving parts
If you follow the recommended "not spray below 3000 rpm", the air velocity is plenty to pull the fogged mixture into the motor. Mine is on the side of the airbox, around the corner from the TB, and works just fine!
