Where did you mount your bottle

Just looking to see some unique places where people have mounted their bottles. I thought mine was pretty unique seeing as how I've never seen anyone mount it there. Of course most people still have their a/c too. Post pics if you have them

Lol, thats funny. Now isn't your bottle supposed to be mounted at a certain angle or does it really matter?

just as long as the bottle is at an angle, and the syphon is angled to the bottom of the bottle.

I was always told as long as the valve is angled above the rest of the bottle you can mount it anyway. I made sure it had a slight upward angle when I mounted the bottle.

Has anyone tried mounting the bottle in the space on the drivers side of the trunk, next to the T-top compartment? I would think that would be a prime spot for a sneaky bottle placement, and then carpet over the top of it. I just dont know if you can get the proper angle under there.

I think I heard about someone on this board who had done that. Took a little finessing and had to taek the speaker out I would imagine.

Hey man, see you are from Jville. You have any Camaro clubs there? I should ride out there one day.

Anyway the bottle should be mounted verticle with the pick up tube pointed towards the rear of the car. A 45* angle will work too. As long as you don't get stupid with the placement, you should be fine. Just remember when accelarating contents of the bottle will go to the back.

That is definitely an original mounting spot! My only concern would be if the bottle got too warm and the relief valve blew open with the bottle in your dash.... Did you run a vent tube outside?

PS-I mounted my bottle in the hatchback well (no t-tops). It was the easy way out!

I had some either -8 or -10an (not sure which) hose that I snagged from work so I tied the 3 pieces of hose together with fittings and ran it along the pasenger seat and drilled a hole under the spare tire and ran a feed through to it and used it as a blowdown tube; or hose in my case.
