What window/wot switch to get

Hey guys. I am just trying to piece together all the stuff I need to try out a 150 shot on my Lt1. I would like to run a window switch and a wot switch. Who makes these and what do you guys recommend. Also, how expensive is all this? Thanks guys.

That is what I don't like. I think I heard someone say that Harlan is making a window switch? I have his shift light, works good.

I've got his window switch, haven't used it yet, but I do have his shift light, and it looks very similar.

I have a friend running Harlan's window switch and he likes it. I have an MSD switch (I bought mine well before Harlan came out with his, so I didn't have much choice).

As for WOT switch, you can always use the one that came w/ the kit. If not, pretty much any WOT switch should do. NX also offers as TPS controlled electronic WOT switch I am hoping to try out some time.

Of course I'm going to suggest this bolt on pre-made WOT switch!

if you aren't running a ignition box you can get a msd digital 6 wich has a window switch built in along with rev limiter and timing retard

FALSE INFORMATION

I have the Digital 6 (hell, I'm on my 3rd one.....they seem to be less than reliable, luckily MSD has good customer support). It has 2 adjustable rev limiters (regular and one activated by +12V), +12V activated adjustable retard, and selectable starting retard. It does not have a built in window switch! I sure wish it had one, and for the freaking price it should, but it doesn't.

Mallory makes a digital ignition, for less money, that has a built in window switch. It also has a retard function, but at least in Jegs it is described as a boost activated retard (using a different MAP sensor). Not sure if it can be 12V activated or not. I may look into that if my Digi 6 dies again (I wouldn't doubt it ) and I can't afford to convert to the LTCC box w/ LS1 coils.

The Mallory has all of the above. Window switch, rev limiter, 12v activated rev limiter, 12v high speed retard, automatic start retard, boost timing retard (with optional accessories).

Mallory also made a stand-alone window switch, part # MAA-628 at Summit Racing. Not sure if they still do.

It is nice, not too expensive, and uses built-in dials, so no pills are needed.

I've got and am using the Harlan Engineering window switch. It works great!

It's very small (much needed in a Vette) and you don't have to mess with "pills". You can reprogram it in one minute (lower/upper rpm points) and did I mention NO PILLS TO BUY!

It's adjustable from 500 to 12,000 rpm in 100 rpm increments. Set your "window" wherever you like, whenever you like.

The only (very minor) downfall is that Harlan is just one guy and you may have to wait awhile for the product (3 weeks for me).

But it is worth it. It's the only thing on my nitrous system that I've felt was a true bargain for an outstanding product.

You can see a couple pics of it and I've got a video of it in action at the Corvette Forum
