What do you think about my window switch setting?

I am spraying a 150 shot, and have my window switch set at 3200 on, and 5500 off, shifting at 5700. Think this will work fine? I have been spraying it like that for a while, im just worried about it puddling up in the intake at 3200, think that is high enough or should I have it come on at 3500? Think I could up the window switch off to 5600, and **** at 5700 and be fine? Just looking for some ways to get the most out of my nitrous and still be safe.

You are O.K. w/a 3200 on point...I have been using 3000 on mine since 02.

For the off point, you stated that you shift @ 5700...what is your rev limiter?
For M6 car you can go as high as ~200rpm before the rev limiter.

A4 cars will shut off before the shift to reduce stress on the tranny, but w/the M6 and a good clutch it is not much of an issue.

My rev limiter is at 6000, but I shift a little sooner just to keep it from bouncing off the limiter in the lower gears. I have a M6, with a factory clutch in it. I dont expect it to hold together for long, esp with the 150 shot on it.

Does your car have a WOT? If it does, why cut it off so soon? Why not set the window at 5700-5800 and let it cut off when you take your foot off the gas to shift.

I reminded of a quote from a great movie.... "Granny shifting, now double clutching like you should, you're lucky that 100 shot of naws didn't blow the welds on the intake manifold."

but any hoo... pedal to the floor the whole way.... never let up on the gas until you reach the finish line.

Well in that case, why cut the juice with the window switch before the shift when the WOT will disengage it when you lift to shift.

what happens if you miss a gear, clutch slips, or a u-joint/driveshaft/axle/gear set/carrier breaks.

that is why we reccomend shutting the kit off 200rpm before the rev limiter on M6 cars

you should learn to powershift imo before spraying then. You can usually cut a good hunk of your time off with powershifting.
