Well i finished my Nitrous install, so here are some pics...
Thanks for all the help, i didnt post much, more of a lurker, but you all helped alot.
First off, i had the nitrous system and ignition box installed by a very reputable shop near Baltimore, MD. The wireing is absolutly flawless, every connection is soldered and heat shrinked. I opted to just display the bottle in the open cause i dont mind if people know whats done to my car. I havent used it on the street, and i really dont think i will.
After the install was done the mechanic putit on his dyno and did like 12 pulls to make sure it was detonating and to get everything working right. We had a major issue with it running rich, which i posted about already. It put out 266hp and like 308ftq N/A. We thought the jetting was right for a 100hp shot, but like i said it got extremley rich, like 10.5:1 and lower. I gained like 11hp, and 80ftq on the nitrous pulls. We couldnt do anything about it that night cause it was like 1am already and the shops were closed. Plus i was going on vacation the next day. But now that i'm back and have a full set of jets from NX i'm taking it back to get the jetting right.
As far as the kit its a NX wet kit, with the Gen 2 upgrade, purge, heater, ect. The ignition box is a Malory 685 high-fire box, with built in window switch. The gauges are all Autometer, an air/fuel, and electric fuel and nitrous pressure. Now on to the pics:
Heres the bottle and brackets with a new coat of black paint, the guy that installed the kit surprised me by painting them
now thats some good service

What are the switches for in that little panel on the console? I installed basically the same thing / same place in my car with 3 switches - 1 for the DMH, 1 for the electric fans, and 1 for future N2O arming
Nice install, BTW!
Re: Well i finished my Nitrous install, so here are some pics...
ahh thanks for that idea man, i'll prolly take care of that this weekend at the shop. But as far as the switches, the one on the left is the Purge, the middle is the N2O arm, and the last is the bottle heater.
The cutout switch is up next to the fog light switch under the middle console airvents, theres a blank plastic filler piece that i guess is used for another switch that my car came without, so i took it out dremmled the space for the DMH switch out and put it in there, really clean set up.
As far as the N2O install goes, all the credit goes to this guy. He did an AWSOME job on it. Plus i think you'll like the video.

LOL i feel like a complete idiot, i was always thinking i had traction control cause when i go over a rough patch of road the low trac light comes on. I guess i dont have it
Oh and from what he told me about his tractor, i think its funnin on race fuel or something, cant remember the details but its awsome to see in person.

How do you know if you've got traction control?????
1. Go to the local dragstrip for some racin'.
2. Fire up the car, but DON'T turn the ASR off.
3. Pull up to the burnout box to heat the tires and then...
Trust me, you'll know!
I've accidently done that a couple of times. It always gives the Mustang guys a good laugh!
