two stage purging?

when a car purges with a purge line then purges in the engine does it mean they have two stages of nitrous?

No it does not. To purge into your motor all you need is
a button/switch wired to your nitrous system. Bring
your rpm's up and activate the button and your
system will spray into your motor. Racers do this
to test if their nitrous system is hitting properly
and/or to purge their lines if they do not have
a separate purge solenoid.

this is a VERY DUMB idea, If a solenoid is capable of flowing 250+ hp then you get all 250 hp of straight nitrous intot he engine, DUMB. I dont know you would purge the system before a race.just running the spray on the motor with no load while sitting still? i dont think so. Just buy a purge and shoot it into the air (or onto an intercooler if you're boosted) otherwise you're just asking for problems. If you want to test the solenoids, dont open the nitrous bottle, drive down the road and arm the system, then let er' rip like you were sprayin, if it bogs, the fuel solenoid is working. to test the nitrous solenoid, unhook the nozzle from the intake. If using a window switch, bring the rpms up to the set rpm that activates the system, and then press the WOT switch with you're finger, it should spray nitrous out. If just running WOT or a momentary button, just arm the system and press the button (with the nozzle unhooked from the intake of course) and you'll get the same effect provided the solenoid is working.
