Re: Trying N20 at track tonight

With pretty much all bolt ons except gears, rockers, and converter, N/A I ran 13.32 @103 1.9 60' on nittos. With a 100 shot, went 13.35@109.8 2.1 60' on street tires (Traction was horrible up until mid of 2nd gear, so that's when I sprayed). Now I'm waiting till it gets colder and I have DR's to head out there again.

Did you have fun with it or what?
You probably did! Nice !

The key to getting the best ET out of your sprayed vehicle is to get the darn thing to hook and hook well !!! With 112 mph, your ET should have been low 12s with a 1.7 - 1.8 60 foot time. If you want these results, get a spare set of wheels and a set of slicks. You should hook fine and GO.
You might wanna invest in some free-flowing exhaust parts in the near future also. Good luck

Re: Trying N20 at track tonight

in my 94 z28 auto with 2.73 gears, i went from 13.60 to 12.24 @ 113.90 using the NOS05176 125 dry shot. manuals are harder to launch, but you'll get there.

Re: Trying N20 at track tonight

I would invest on some slicks to get those 60ft down into the 1.8. With that mph 112 you will be in the mid-low 12s'.

Re: Trying N20 at track tonight

On the motor, the 95 runs 12.04 @ 117. On a 160 shot it ran 10.96 @ 128. 60' went from 1.74 to 1.57. I had blower cars for years but am now a converted nitrous junkie. We just upped the jetting to 250 and took 180 lbs out of the car, 120 of it off the front. That's gonna be interesting.
