TR6's????

I am about to do a cam swap, headers, etc..so I have decided that now would be the best time to change the plugs and wires. I plan on spraying th car later on and want to go ahead and get the correct plugs. I have done some searching and have come to the decision to ge the TR6's...my question is, will there be any performance loss when not spraying with these plugs? And am I choosing the correct plugs? Just curious...thanks in advance.

Yes those are the right plug for sparying, you can use them as well for average driving condtions. if your using a big shot (150+) gap them at .035.

You will definately have a performance loss n/a. I am not knocking these plugs at all. I run them in my car but you can feel a difference off the bottle

Do you think I should wait on the n20 plugs until I get ready to spray? Should I just buy regular plugs now? It will be a while before I spray. I am wanting to get the most out of it NA before I get a power adder. I don't care to wait on the tr6's for a while if it will hurt my performance now.

If you don't mind swapping plugs again then I say wait, you will get more performance with normal plugs. Just under no circumstances should you spray without the colder plugs. Good luck

ummmm.............

you shouldn't see any difference between the stockers and the TR6s when running NA. it's a tighter spark and so that you can burn better. i know lots of ppl running better with TR6s NA than other cars with the same mods and stock heat range and gapped plugs.

it won't hurt your performance one bit. if you want i'll post again after i install my TR6s tomorrow or tuesday.

you will have a n/a performance drop with a tr6 gapped at 35. I have had them in my car for 2 1/2 years

put them in the same time as the slowmaster?

your the first one to say you have a loss, and one that you can feel.... DAMN must be like 10hp at least then......
I have a real hard time beliving that, and if its true then I would think that your ignition is not up to running N2O

slowmaster??? Idiot. The ignition system is fine. I have a little experience with lt1's and nitrous. 4 of my friends pretty much have the same nx kit and ignition. All of us feel the same way about the plugs. Do we all have ignition problems oh almighty x-ride??

when i swapped to the TR6 plugs i lost absolutely nothing in n/a times/performance. at the time the car was running high 12's w/bolt on's and eventually went 12.36@109 with those plugs and bolt on's. Also went 11.02@124 while on the bottle with a stock longblock.

no you really wont notice a difference by running those plugs.

mus be the air there then, cause really, to lose enough power that you can notice it would have to be at least 10 hp, and thats lots.
I've also seen a car change plugs on the dyno, going from stock one with low miles to the TR6 and show NO difference in power.
and then go and run 114 hp more with a 100 shot of NX

there is no reason for a power loss unless you have other problems.
