I went to the track(Gulfport) about 2 months ago. I was barely hooking NA so I didn't even try the NX. I ran a new NA best of 12.09 @ 112.21 on a sideways 1.71 60ft. Weather was pretty good, 60 degrees with low humidity. I've been ploting about just putting the cage in so I can go to No Problem and run without tech issues. I ran the 11.03 in 80+ degree temps with a spinning 1.61 60ft at Hub City. So with a dead hook winter run at NP, the car should go 10.8's easily. I haven't even got a chance to run the car with the skinnies on the front either. I've heard that is good for a solid tenth. So the .04 is really a joke. I just haven't brought it to the premier track yet. The 10 second slip will come. One of these days.

with my old heads/cc306/nitrous/6 speed combo i ran a 10.54 @ 132
3600lbs, **** poor tuning and alot of tirespin.

this weekend Kevin Sharratt ran a 10.29 @ 127 on a conservative pass with a heads/cam/150 shot. light car with a powerglide. he should see 9s pretty easily

LOL! Old heads? Those were George Baxter's old heads right. If I had those I would be in the mid 10's @ 130+ also. Mine are some local chop shop sh*t. Nice NA times on the new motor.

i didnt mean old heads, i meant that it was my old combo

ill have to put some pics up next time i have the motor apart. you guys would be amazed at how little they actually ported these heads compared to the stage 2 & 3 heads you see coming from GTP, MTI etc. heck, they didnt even bother smoothing the ports out after the CNC. and ive only got 2.00 valves. hell, they seem to work pretty good though
