Talking stock lt-1 goes 11.52 for $1300

My friend has a stock 94 fbird with 113K on it. He has a homemade dry kit on it. Mods are turbo 350, 2500 stall, 3.73 gear in stock rear end and 28X9" slick. total cost of addd on's are $1300

Car ran 1.55 60' 11.52 @ 115.78

this is stock manifolds, ex. susp. well everything. Nothing removed and if you open the hood you'd never even see a sign of nitrous.

CRC you know who this is.

I'm interested to find out how long the 10-bolt will hold up to 1.55 60's!

That surely is an amazing time for the mods.

We were saying that about my buddies 87 S10. No way that thing lasts more than 3 runs. 2 1/2 years later the truck has gone 10.4 @ 126 and has gone as quick as 1.48 in the 60ft. Ofcourse he has added a mini spool. Other than that it is the stock rear.

6000 for 97 Z with blown motor and 67,000 on body with every bolt on and free longblock.

Yup went faster

We have gotten certian car to go faster then that with less bolt ons. Its still a good accomplishment though, some people cant get them to go out of the 12s with spray!!

i think that's the point most are missing. $1300. Any car will go faster the more money you throw to it. ( well should)

were talking stock pump, injectors and the best sleeper you could imangine. if i could get a digital pic with the hood open i'll bet no-one here would find any sign of spray. And EX. sound ..well it's stock there is none.

JUcin GTA.... you said this 6000 for 97 Z with blown motor and 67,000 on body with every bolt on and free longblock.

I'm talking COMPLETLY STOCK !!!

Funny thing is this is the first car he's ever tuned with lt-1 edit. He's just aggresive at applying himself and does a ton of reading and not enough posting . Maybe he'll reply since he's on here too and observing all this ?

He has since done 2 more and both are very happy.
LT-1 Tony can vouch for his skills, he really turned that car around and it's less than optimized but getting better.
