Stock bottom end??

I'm fixing to start spraying and the only thing i'm worried about is the stock bottom end. I plan on making around 500rwhp with the spray(100,125 shot). Is this safe for an ls1 stock bottom end? How much could it handle?

Re: Stock bottom end??

As long as your tune and fuel system is good you'll be fine. The stock bottom end can take a lot, to around the upper 600s. Make sure you're running good plugs, pull some timing, and make sure fuel pressure is good and you'll be good to go.

A friend of mine has a 98 TA and he is spraying a 200 shot and has been for 3 years with no problems. His car has a cam and bolt-ons with good susp and runs 10.90's with a 6 speed.
