spraying an 85 TPI

i want to spray my 85 TPI this summer. Can i spray a dry kit on this car? I only see wet kits listed and would rather go with the dry kit for a basic install.

What HP settings and jet sizes should i use?

Or do you guys just recommend the wet kit?

motor is stock with shorty headers.

A. The MAF sensors on TPI cars have VERY fragile heated elements in them. I don't like the idea of it being frozen and unfrozen every now and then.

B. I wouldn't trust the computer and injctors to do their part properly...hahaha

C. I suggest a wet kit for sure. Which one? Well I used a Nitrous Express LT1 wet kit with perfect success on my 1989 305 TPI engine. It used a single "Shark" nozzle and could be jetted from 50-150 HP. I only used a 75 shot with the TPI intake just for fun really and my car dropped 1.4 seconds off of it's 1/4 mile and I gained over 8 mph in the 1/4. I plumbed the Shark Nozzle INTO the MAF sensor as wierd as that may sound. I drilled a properly sized hole in the drivers side of the MAF housing BEHIND the little hated wire on the engine side and screwed the nozzle into the hole(Apply some type of sealant also for extra hold and to stop any air leaks. I directed the nozzle right into the throttle body opening. Running it with a WOT "full throttle" switch and having a remote bottle opener made me an NX customer for a long time to come Goodluck!
