Spraying 200+ HP before the TB
I'm glad to hear your motor was fine.
I'm not talking about spraying 200 HP on a stock motor with a stock fuel system. I am talking about a built motor (forged pistons with rings gapped for n2o, etc) and a dedicated fuel system for the nitrous. It will be tuned on the dyno and always monitored with a scan program. It seems like the general consensus is that it should be fine.
Has anyone found the part # for the Tr7? Also, is anyone running that plug in a daily driver?
Thanks
Dustin

i've been running a 200 shot from a shark nozzle infront of the TB forever. times in the sig are on a 150 or 175 shot, i forget which, it was ~2 years ago.
for a little while i had another kit on the car, jetted at 175hp. (total of 375hp before the TB) that was back when i wanted to race big bikes on the highway. i've since changed my mind about running bikes all together, so i took the kit back off the car.
anywho... back to the original point.... i've never had a single problem that was due to it not being a direct port setup. i blew it up once when the fuel pump failed, and another time when i wasnt using a WOT switch & accidentialy sprayed it while cranking it up.... never even had a nitrous back fire though.

That takes some ***** to spray 375 HP worth of N2O throught the intake manifold. I would have thought a backfire would be guaranteed. I'm glad to hear you did it with no problems. I am ready to go now (if I can come up with a little more money
)
Thanks
