Small shot vs Big shot??

Small shot vs Big shot??
Anything different in setup (short cuts-money savers) needed to run a small shot 50-75hp than you would use to run a bigger shot 100-200hp? I know jet size would be different but I was wondering about timing retard, fuel upgrades, etc.
