Small shot on stock motor

I was just looking to see if it would be ok to put a 75 Shot on a bolt on queen LT1, stock fuel system, stock internals etc. Would the ignition need to be upgraded?? I don't want a massive shot of nitrous, just a lil punch just in case

I think you will be fine with the stock fuel and ignition system for a 75 shot. I know a guy running a 150 shot on stock fuel and ignition. (I wouldn't do it) His car is an auto with 3.23's. His only other mods are CAI, cutout, and BFG DR's. I saw him run a 12.04 @ 114 spraying about 20 ft. out.

Yes you'll will be safe running a 75 shot into a stock motor. The only thing i would change out is your spark plugs. Get rid of those plat. plugs and but some NGK, or Autolite's one range colder. Maybe change your fuel filter as well cause you want a good fuel pressure.

I personally use the Nitrous Express wet kit. It is one of the best wet kits out IMO. The only other kit I would use is a TNT kit. With a wet kit fuel and nitrous are added through a nozzle or TB plate. With a dry kit only nitrous is added. A dry kit gets the added fuel by raising the psi on the injectors to compensate. With stock injectors this can be a bit risky, because they tend to lock up at the elavated psi sometimes. I'd go with the NX wet kit.

Does NX even sale a dry kit?? I've looked at the site and they say nothing about wet or dry kits, just the "Shark" or fogger Nozzle. Also I found the kit at excessivemotorsports.com for like 200 bucks cheaper, should I just get it through them or are there bad reviews with excessive. I haven't heard much about them at all except in magazines.

I would either buy a used one from a reputable member of the board, or use another vendor. That is what I would do. Oh, and I'm almost positive that NX has only wet kits.

Excessive motorsports...
Yes you should order through them...... if you want to have to wait a month, or have to send them proof that you actually purchsed from them.... or run into any other problems that give you a nice headache.
They are the MOST complained about vendor on cz28.com

Funny thing being I actually ordered my original NX system from Excessive. That was back when Dinosaurs roamed the Earth though....

Anywho, I'd really recommend you find one of the Vendors of CZ28.com. Tom Byrne, Thunder, or any of the others will hook you up with the same or even a better deal then Excessive will give, and you won't need to worry about the service end.

I also recommend the NX system, as its the best combination of Quality (Notice this comes first), Service, and Price.

Good luck!
