Shark nozzle in Trick Flow Elbow?

My 1LE elbow is starting to rip at the TB (this makes #2), so I'm looking to go a more durable route. Thinking about the Trick Flow elbow..... (is the ceramic one worth it, or is it just for looks?)

I was wondering how a Shark Nozzle would be mounted. Maybe Nitro Dave can help out...

Thanks

Actually you can just run a single nozzle in it. I know it has a divider but it will not matter.Beacuse at the throttle body you roll into one open intake plenum. I would juts take and drill and tap the elbow.

There is no divider in the trick flow elbow.

Re: Shark nozzle in Trick Flow Elbow?

ONLY vortech elbows have dividers in them . Trick flow does NOT have a divider in it .

I suppose i could be wrong, i know mine doesn't have one. Perhaps you are thinking of the Vortech elbows, I know they have the divider. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this?

Re: Shark nozzle in Trick Flow Elbow?

I have a Trick flow elbow I first mounted my nozzle in front of the throttle body by the IAT sensor, didn't like that so I moved it on the underside of the elbow right behind the MAF, alot better distribution in my mind. Drill and tap

You might need to connect your lines to the nozzel using 90 degree hose ends. I encountered clearance problems with the stock hood im running. If you have a firebird or SS you might not have the same issues.

I just talked to NX about this and they mentioned that adding a 90-degree fitting at the nozzle is the equivalent of adding 15ft of line as it is a major flow restriction at that point.

I am just wondering if I had a set of -3AN lines made up with 90-degree fittings if that wouldn't work better since there is no internal diameter change and it should be the proper geometry to aide in flow with causing a restriction?
