Sealant on connections?

I am installing a NX wet kit and was wondering if there is any type of sealant that I should be putting on all of the connections? I heard that NX has their own sealant, but I bought this kit used and don't have any. Is there something similar that I can use, such as teflon tape? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I used teflon paste on all non-colored connections (i.e., only on the nuts). You don't need any sealant on the solenoid->nozzle connections.

I needed teflon tape to get the fuel rail connection to seal completely, though.
