running nitrous line?
Re: running nitrous line?
A lot of people run their nitrous line under the carpet. Just be sure the hole in the firewall where it is routed is grommeted. That's the most likely place for puncture. It's not a bad idea to run it under the carpet, just use common sense... It'll be fine.
Re: running nitrous line?
I ran mine through the car too, so if you look under the car you don't see any lines. I also hid my switches in the glovebox, Jacobs NMM in the dash (above the stereo) and bottle in the spare tire well. If you look anywhere but under the hood you can't see a thing!
Oh, and that braided line would probably live longer passed through a hole in a firewall (no grommet) than the sheetmetal would.
But run it through the grommet so it's sealed better against the elements.

Re: running nitrous line?
On my third gen I removed the charcoal canister and line. I then mounted the bottle in the back storage area and ran the nitrous line in the factory location where the vent line used to be.
