You'll hear many comments about this. The two recommend plugs for the bottle are autolite#104/ or 103 gapped at .035-.040, NGK TR6 gapped at .035. I've used both of them and seem to work just fine. The only difference between is the two is price, and availability of the plug. You can always fine the autolite is any part store if one foul out, or breaks.

I'm using AC Delco R42LTS. They are shorter than the other two and make it a little easier with my headers.

sorry to bring up the old post. but ngk TR6 SUCKS to the bone. i'm gonna install autolite 104 this weekend. the good thing about autolite is you can find them anywhere. two of my TR6 failed to serve its purposes after only 2K miles. now i will have to go with autolite, which has the same quality and my local auto store around the corner has them. much much easier to get at the same price. screw TR6. with TR6, i have to get em from the internet with shipping charge?? hell, i dont want to do that. . please no flame. just my 02

you can get TR6 plugs at advance auto. If they don't have them in stock you can order them up til about 5 or 6 pm and they'll have them the next morning by 8 am.

advance auto is out of the questions. they only have one store in CA, but lots and lots in the east side. oh well, kragen, pepboys, autozone and NAPA sell autolite 103 and 104...that would be a lot easier for me

Are you using those plugs with stock heads?
How much colder are they over stock? 1 or 2 heat ranges?

How much shorter would you say they are over the Tr6 plugs?

Thanks for any input,
Claude

Stock heads, 1 step colder, not sure exactly how much shorter but it's enough that I can get them in with no problems and I had to break a few of the Autolights to get them out. Sorry, but I don't have any NGKs to measure them against.
