Quick Zex Question

I am about to buy a used base zex dry kit off of a friend of mine who had it hooked up on his f150. It was basically the bottle, WOT switch and the purple solenoid box.....My question is, will i be able to hook up a window switch and purge etc too this kit later on...As far as i know now, it would switch on as soon as it is WOT and i dont want it spraying under 3k.

Re: Quick Zex Question

There's more than one way to set an rpm window. In my case I'm using a mallory ignition box to break or enable the ground to the solenoid(s). My kit is wet and I don't boost fuel pressure but I still think you can add an rpm window switch that breaks or enables the ground to your WOT switch and auxiliary fuel pump, if that's what you have.

Re: Quick Zex Question

with the purge, you can hook that up before the zex box and after the bottle.

so, bottle, long feed line, purge, short line, zex box, so on.

Re: Quick Zex Question

I would essentially do the same for the rpm activation switch correct?
