Quick setup ? for my new nitrous kit

I just got my NOS kit installed 2 days ago. I have everything for it except the RPM Activation Switch. I have the HPP3 programming on the car now, I was wondering while I am waiting on the Activation Switch if I could use the HPP3 to set the shift points earlier (like -2 MPH ) and be safe spraying through the shifts (A4). I just want to test this thing out and it might be a little bit before my MSD box gets here. My plans where to flip the switch at a certain RPM and then flip it back off at another.

What do you guys think?

Also, is there anything I need to make sure is off of the HPP3? I plan on leaving the 160 stat settings!!

Thanks
nick

If it were me I would wait. just takes on hit on the revlimiter to blow the intake off an LS1 . but you might be okay if you raise the rev limitier up too but keep that in mind when you get close to the revlimiter.

Well since its an A4 and I set the rev limiter to 6700 RPM's and I set the HPP3 to shift the car at 5600 RPMs I am not to worried about the rev limiter. I am just worried shifting while spraying. I can set the shift even sooner if I want. Also, I took the timing and power tunning that the HPP3 does off, so that isn't an issue.

And other thoughts!!!!
