Just got my NX Bottle warmer and am a little confused about the wiring diagram. It says to run the GREEN wire from the relay to the heating element and the BLACK wire to 12volts. According to the numbers on the relay that would be running the #87 prong 12 volts in(to relay) to the element and the #30 prong 12volts out(from relay) to a constant 12 volts. Did they just get the wires mixed up on the instructions or is it supposed to be wired this way?

 

id have to check mine out but i think the black one is ground

 

yes the black wire does go directly to power, just make sure you put a fuse of some sort inline.
