Re: Plug recomendation and gap?

I eventually switched to the Autolite 104's @ .035 once I got tired of the NGK screw on caps sometimes loosening up. Never noticed a difference in performance between the two and the Autolites were significantly cheaper.

With a 150 shot, would I run autolite 103s or 104s?

Re: Plug recomendation and gap?

I ran the 104's with the 150 shot without any issues. When I went up to the 175 shot I switched to the 103's. Ran my best NA pass so far with the 103's in also. So I don't see it hurting NA performance with that cold of a plug. In my case at least.

Re: Plug recomendation and gap?

I also use the AC Delco's @ a .040 gap with an MSD 6AL and a hot coil. Haven't had any problems.

Re: Plug recomendation and gap?

I used to use the Autolite 103's gapped at .035. Now I'm trying the Autolite Race plugs AR-473 (I think) and it seems to run a lot better especially at WOT

Re: Plug recomendation and gap?

Autolite 104's @ .035.

A side benefit of the 104's is that they are shorty
style and give better header clearance.
