Pix of selenoids mounted on LT1?

I have searched for 2 days for some good pics of the mounting of the selenoids on the LT1. I see some good ideas under the cowl but cant do that b/c I have my coils mounted back there for my LTCC set up.

Anyone got pix to show me where they mounted the nitrous and fuel selenoids?

Thanks!

I just split the one purge line into 2 lines with a T fitting. Go to a hardware store and get copper line and a pipe bender to bend them without crimping. To split the line, just use compression fittings and a T fitting. Your purge solenoid comes with a small metal line, you want your copper lines to be the same. Bring that to the hardware store and match it up with comparable copper lines, and then get a T-fitting and compression fittings. Route them any way you want, I routed mine under the cowl.

Thanks for the quick response, did you screw the t fitting in the "out" hole? also did you solder the nipple with the compresson screw onto the copper wire? i've never worked with compression fittings before this is why i ask. thanks again

no need to solder anything, compression fittings do as they imply, they compress the copper tube with a ferrel(sp?), you don't need anything else.

Also, if you look at my pic, I used the short tube that came with the noid(about 6") from the solenoid to the T, then I split it, this was because I didn't want to be able to see all the "plumbing" and hide it under the cowl. Also, the tubing that comes with the solenoid is MUCH stronger then the copper, which is good because it can hold up the T fitting without bending. If that line from the noid to the T was copper, the T fitting would be sitting on the intake since the copper would bend, wouldn't be able to hold up the weight of the T. You can also T it off directly from the noid, you would just probably get an adapter, just go to the store you'll seee all the things they have, and you will understand what I'm talking about.

HAHA Keep dreaming tuff guy. I dont show ANYONE under my hood.. Too many local trolls get on here and since I don't pop my hood for ANYONE that would cause a problem.

But since you can't read I will refresh your memory of my post which says BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH This pic is my FAV... Nitrous with the STOCK INTAKE LMFAO!!! Now while this has nothing to do with the placement of his solenoids, you still stick your nose in and ask to see mine which would have nothing to do with my point The point being how gay to put nitrous on a car with a STOCK Ait Intake

But since you feel soo compeled to compare dick sizes with me, you can rest assured judging by MY TIMESLIP my solenoids must look awfully pretty under my hood
