Part #'s on zex jets
Part #'s on zex jets
I just picked up a used Zex dry kit and it doesnt come with the jets, What i need to know are the zex jets part numbers for my 94Lt1...... The kit also doesnt come with some 2$ hose ,not sure what the 2 dollar hose is by the way
Jake, I don't have the stock numbers but, here is what you need for the nitrous and the fuel jets:
75 HP will need #40 nitrous jet and #82 fuel jet.
100 HP will need #46 nitrous jet and #78 fuel jet.
125 HP will need #52 nitrous jet and #73 fuel jet.
I'm sure ZEX can provide these.
The hoses that came with the kit were 2 -3ft. lenghts of rubber hose that connected the nitrous management unit to the vacuum fitting and to the fuel pressure regulator. The other hose was used to install the in-line fuel pump.
Hope this helps.
Fred

Re: Part #'s on zex jets
I believe you can also use Nitrous Express jets as well, since they have the correct taper. You will also need to change your fuel injectors to a non-disc type, as the stock units will lock up when the fuel pressure is raised(I have confirmed this, and it is very, very bad).
