Ok, looking to step up to the plate...
I currently am running a LE2, GM847 Cam setup with every engine mod possible, spec 4 clutch with kevlar disc. My tranny is unmolested and i have a 9" to go in when the 10 bolt breaks. I am looking to go with a nitrous setup, but I dont have a lot of money to spend. Maybe $400 or so?
What would be a good setup for this amount of money? I also have a built 355 to handle the juice.
I am VERY new to nitrous... I just know in order to run 10's I need it.
This is the system I was looking at...

However, I am not against purchasing a used kit if someone has a better idea.

A good setup with all the safety device is going to run you more then 400 bucks. I have spent a grand so far and I still need a couple more things that will total another three hundred.

My setup was $1200. You won't be able to do it right for $400. Save your money until you have enough to do it right and protect your investment. You'll want a nitrous kit, blowdown tube, fuel pressure safety switch, bottle heater, purge (NX GenX2 upgrade kit has all of this), a window switch, and something to retard timing with when you spray.

$1200 for nitrous? That seems a little too much IMO. I am going to be using a wet kit, so no need for any fancy fuel pumps bottle heaters etc. I will only be using the bottle on the weekends so I can just keep the bottle inside until I go out to the track. My buddy had a zex kit that did up to 125hp shot and his did fine. His motor lasted long after the nitrous setup.
I am just looking for a kit that I can use 1-2 a week at the track. My NA horsepower is plenty enough for daily driving.

There is a lot to a 10 second street car, especially if you ever want to race it at the track. I suggest a WOT switch and a fuel pressure switch, the rest I really wouldn't worry about.
You should take your car to the track and run it N/A to see what you have got. You do realize to run a 10.X at the track, you would need a firejacket, harness, helmet, DS safety loop, SFI balancer, SFI flexplate and aftermarket axles?
Just a thought

Re: Ok, looking to step up to the plate...
THe system you showed is a nice system. It comes with lifetime warrenty solenoids that can flow 300 hp. However Like stated above to do it right you will need more than just the basic system. The system operates off bottle pressure. The only way to keep the bottle pressure at the right setting is with a bottle heater. Baare minumum I would suggest a system, heater, nitrous pressure gauge and a window switch. THe window switch is the most needed saftey device. Let me know if you have any questions.

......I think a dry kit placed after the mass air flow is what you need....
You got a bunch of nitrous guru's AND a supporting vendor saying what you need. Just throwing nitrous on a setup like yours and not even crossing your fingers with some of the mentioned safety devices just seems kind of ignorant.
