Off the shelf Octane bossters

I am wanting to spray a 175 shot on my car this friday. I am running sunnoc 94 octane. But I would like a little boost in Octane would that 104 stuff do any good at all? Or would it just be a waist of money?

It only raises octane by tenths of a point and not a full octane number...(i.e. 5 point increase being---94 to 94.5 with octane boost instead of 94-99). By about 4-5 gallons of 100 octane at the track or your local race fuel distributor and you'll be fine.

If you can find it at a performance shop the NOS octane booster (if I remember correctly) is not BS and really does some good.

Get Sunoco 104 or some other racing unleaded fuel.

the only 2 octane Boosters worth anything are the new NX stuff,or the booster made by Torco.

other then that,175 on pump gas is a very BAD idea.

Hi
on my search for Hi octane fuel. since I use to run 12.2CR I e-mailed NOS asking about there octane boosters they saied:
the off rod formula will add from 5 to 7 points to the fuel
and I will expect some thing around 94 to 96 from 89 gas. thats what they said. not tenths as I thout before. they even saied most octane boosters work best with low fuel octane and wont get much results on hi octane gas????
