NX remote bottle opener

Well, It worked when the bottle wasn't filled, I went and filled it, left the opener in the closed position, now the bottle opener makes a noise, but doesn't move. I shouldn't have to tighten the damn clutch because I havn't even used it yet. I shouldn't have to open it to put it on either because that is just a big waste of nitrous. HELP ME!

Re: NX remote bottle opener

When you set the bottle opener up when you get the bottle filled, you are supposed to mount the opener on with the bottle valve open. With the valve open, the stem coming out of the valve is higher. I would say that if you mounted the opener on the bottle with the valve closed, when the opener spins, it isnt going to let the valve rise and open. I had an NX opener and the instructions said to mount the opener on the bottle with the valve open. You will have to get a cap to cap off the bottle to be able to open it. It's no big deal, should be able to get a cap at the local auto parts store.

Youll have to adjust the clutch....you have to get it tighter than you would think. It will stick at times untill you get it tight enough....once its tight enough it works every time.
