Question nx direct port shark nos kit

does anybody know anything about this kit for a lt1/lt4? if you do can you tell me if it interrupts the fuel atomization coming from the injector since you mount it right below the injector
thanks bud

Can't give you any definitive information, but I'm not expecting any problems....

Mine is basically a Carb Version. Its the Pro Shark Nozzle w/ Dual Rail Upgrades, and Super Shark Single N20 Solenoid Upgrade (That thing is a monster!)

There really aren't many differences. The LT1 Specific systems are kind weird, as I wouldn't trust my fuel enrichment coming off the fuel rail from a 4AN port....

Beyond that the jetting can be different utilizing a High pressure Tune-Up. Its really up to you which direction you go....

Slammed,

Bravo! Nice work! I ASSume thats a Pirahna Nozzle system, as I couldn't fathom squeezing the larger sharks in there....

How ya gonna change jets with that thing.... I actually initially planned to go under the intak with Pirahnas bt decided for tuning and jet changes I didn't wanna hassle with ripping the intake off. I don't expet any problems in the Injector Spray pattern, mostly due to my Nozzle placement to the outside of the Intake port.... Who knows, maybe it'll go nuclear because of it. LOL.

For more performance, I would stay away from mounting under the intake. It looks bitchen and is good for street racing to a certain extent, but the hot oil that hits the lines and nozzles really messes up the nitrous. You want that nitrous in a liguid form as it hits the intake track. The hot oil will heat the lines and nozzles up, and start to disassociate the nitrous before it enters the combustion chamber. Not really good in a performance point of view.

Wouldnt the fresh nitrous cool the lines almost immediately after the solenoids were opened? Maybe a soft intial hit, but other than that, I dont see why there'd be a performace loss. Seems like most street racers would want the soft hit. And at the track, you could always purge through the motor a few times to cool the lines and dump the gaseous nitrous, if you demanded a quicker hit.

Never ran a under intake system myself though - so maybe I'm offbase. If so, exactly how much performace loss are we looking at, say on a properly tuned 300shot.

Its not just he initial hit that is the problem. There is hot oil hitting those lines and nozzles the whole time. Makes it bad. Im not saying it wont work and give you some power, but dont expect to make as much as you should. Its good for being tricky, but its not recomended in a performance situation.
