Arrow NX 150 shot 1/4 mile results

We finally got the opportunity to try the 150 shot of spray on the full 1320 (about time!!). We made two passes (I say we because I made one pass and my buddy Sean aka FUNINA91SS made the other). I wasnt overly impressed with the numbers, but I wasnt disappointed either. Here's how they looked:

Run #1 (Mine )----------------------Run #2 (Sean's )
Reaction: .515-------------------------1.000
60ft:------1.764-------------------------1.856
330ft:----4.991-------------------------5.026
1/8 et:---7.726@90.111--------------7.696@92.442
1/4 et:-12.066@111.995-----------11.968@110.806

I find it kind of odd that on my run I landed a better 60ft and trapped a better mph, but had a slower ET than Sean's slower 60ft slower mph run Also, the differences in 1/8 mile MPH compared to 1/4 mile MPH is a bit confusing, any ideas?? The car ran quite well, no misses or pings or knocks, but the shifts were a bit sluggish, other than that, things went silky smooth. What do you guys think, is this about right on par for my car/mods?? Or should it have done a little better? Thanks in advance.

Joe.

By the way, we didnt make any NA runs, but I figure the car would've have went 13.5x-13.6x right at 100-101mph. The times in the sig are last years best on motor.

rev limiter

Thanks for the make a free pass card but the car did hit the rev limiter on the 1-2nd shift and I think the 60ft diffrence is I am used to a manual trans and rolling into the gas which is what I did on the 11.96 I really felt it hit(man what a feeling)but I still dont understand the better et that is why I wanted you to make 1 more pass but I understand you situation... I guss next year we can get the trans rebuilt and a good stall and push the STOCK MOTOR some more...

Congrats Joe, maybe next year I'll get some traction help and not be embarrased to run the 1/4 again. It will be a couple years down the road before I can really tear into mine. It must feel awesome to have an 11 second car.

Yes we sprayed out of the whole.Comes on a wot...and threw the shifts. With NO TIMING RETARD His car also has 104k on it... never had the vavle covers off.or the trans pan...I think the car would do alot better with some tunning it is stock tuned at the moment.

Nice times. I'd definetly get a dyno tune on the dope and look into a 255lph fuel pump.

Hey guys, I got the pics developed today!! I've got three pics each of Joe and Chris' runs. One of the burnout, one when the lights turned green, and the last from the rear going down the track. I had Wallyworld put them on CD, so when I get a chance I'll save them to my computer and try to e-mail them to you guys.

I've also got pics of the lights with "12.06" and "111.99" lit up

Chris...we've got some catching up to do!!!

Oh and by the way...I got home last night and kicked myself (twice) for not taking my car...damn tires I'll be running next time

Brian, you are right about the catching up part. I have a feeling that will be a long way down the road. Send those pics sometime and if you get me a VHS tape, I'll copy the trip for ya. I hope to have the traction issues outta the way by this spring.

BTW, we are going to be playing catch up with Sean too. I think he will be running low to mid 11's, if not a high 10 (with a NX kit of course

Later,
Chris
