Nitrous and your insurance...

How much did your Insurance goes up when you installed your nitrous? Do you have to tell them or what? Ive heard if you dont they can cancell you insurance. Please help!

i never told them,but some policies might have an additional coverage charge for "aftermarket parts".

choice is yours,im sure most wont know what it is.

I doubt most insurance companies would like knowing you have a system that adds 150hp on demand .

Since my car is not a daily driver and I have lots of mods, I wanted to have it insured for as much as possible. I went with a company that insures show cars, etc. When my agent called me back, she stated that this was the only company that would insure my car since it had nitrous. I had to include pics of the car so the company would know what they were covering.
