Nitrous w/Propane
Do you mean using propane as the NOS fuel or a propane fueled engine with nitrous added to it?
If it's a propane engine and you want to use nitrous, you need to do like alcohol racers do. The NOS setup is calibrated for gasoline. Install it like normal except you need a seperate small fuel cell and pump to inject the gasoline when the NOS is turned on. A mixture of propane and 92+ gasoline won't hurt anything.
A 1 gallon fuel cell mounted under the hood with a Holley red or blue pump with regulator is all that's needed.
Using NOS with an alternate fuel engine isn't hard. Just keep the levels within the range that you normally would use with a gas engine.

Sorry, I wanted to use the propane as the enrichment fuel on a gasoline engine.
Additionally, thanks to Injuneer and some others I at least learned propane is already being used as a supplimental fuel.
However, in looking at the 3000 and viper websites I still couldn't seem to find jetting recomendations. I thought the advanced tech patrons could help.

This is definitely a good topic.
If I ever get my car running well again with the 396 I'd like to use propane as a supplemental high octane fuel source instead of dumping 22 gallons of 110 unleaded in the tank.

The hardest part is going to be finding a good way to store the propane.
I think that using my NOS 58MM TB is still feasible by using a standard wet nozzle with the end cut off with propane where the fuel inlet was and nitrous on the other side spraying into my dry TB.
That's just a theory of course.

Looks like some folks are just using DOT apporoved 5lb tanks parked right next to the nitrous tank. I'll pass on that. Likely place a piece of steel between myself and the tank. Burn's arn't fun.
I modified a tank nozzle this weekend, assuming a high volume of propane will be required. I'll be ordering a solenoid this week.
However, I am still trying to finish another high priority project, and I'm trying to finish before the birth of my second daughter on June 1st. I'm using the propane project as filler work.
Looks good so far, I'll end up doing a little more research on the gas vs propane characteristics. Looks like propane is a 105 octane and has 92000 BTUs heat per pound. I'll compare with gas and nose around some more before I decide to just jet low and work my way up, maybe 50-75-100-+. Get a feel for the jetting off of the o2 numbers and reading the plugs.
By the way, unless the 105 is a motor octane number, one may be limited to under 200hp, at least by NOS's recomendations. I'd still run race gas.
I just like the dry spray, it's easy to work, easy to hide, and it is cheap to install.

I successfully bendh sprayed propane last night through a solenoid. Sounds good and really throws a flume.
I have all the hardware rounded up for the install.
Testing should begin soon.

I would guess 2-3 sizes more on the fuel side if it spits an sputters then she's to FAT. If it screams like the Demon posessed
Then stop and check plugs
Definatly no more than a short burst the forst few times till ya get a handle on the a/f ratio
You know the drill, if ya play MAD scientist and start mixin Hydrogen peroxide with liquid O2 then somethins gonna break.
