nitrous timing question
nitrous timing question
if you have a power tune requiring you to tun 93 octane can you spray if you have colder range plugs and race gas or do you still need to retard the timing. i have tunercat but have no idea of how to do it. i have a mailorder tune though.
Re: nitrous timing question
I use Sonoco 104 and run full timing with the 175 shot

How has your car ran with 175 shot and pulling 7 degrees?
Re: nitrous timing question
Runs great! No times on the 175 shot with pump gas yet, but with a 150 shot and 100 octane with no timing pulled it ran a 11.7 at 117 with a 1.6 60' on ET streets... The car is on it's 3rd rear end.
Oh yeah, I'm using autolite 104's gapped at 35.

Re: nitrous timing question
yea i can see for base timing or whatever but my question was for if you have a custom tune for n.a. where the timing will be a little higher then stock
