Nitrous that's NOT logical!

Just installed a ZEX wet kit with remote bottle opener and bottle heater. Didn't change the spark plugs yet so I'm just using the 75 HP jets (according to ZEX: fuel 40, nitrous 26).
Whenever I remove the nozzle from the elbow to check both gas and nitrous are spraying fine but when I put it back in and take it for a ride I can hear something spraying but absolutely nothing happens!
I'm using a Vortech intake elbow and placed the nozzle near the mass airflow sensor on the lower side app. 7" from the TB.
Im using a stock fuel pump so the fuel/nitrous mix shouldn't be to rich.

Any advice or thoughts will be highly appreciated - thanks!

could be a few things. you need to place the nozzle so that it sprays directly at the TB. from what you said it sounds like you have it too far down from it. place it where it will spray directly to the TB.

also since the stock plugs are gapped so large it could be blowing out the spark and not burning well or hardly at all. definitley change the plugs and gap and hopefully you will see better results. you need to be very careful because you could blow your intake off and apart very easily if it just sprays into the manifold and then you start or rev the car. hopefully it's just not burning right but i probably wouldn't spray if i was you until you get everything right.

Thanks Roadrage912,

its just difficult to spray directly into the TB because of the design of the Vortech intake elbow. Its divided into two in the middle for better flow, that's why the nozzle is placed so far down from the TB. I dont know if it's possible to spray so near to the TB unless I modify the Vortech elbow and remove some of the middle of the elbow that's dividing it.

A lot of people using that elbow do cut the middle divider to place the single nozzle in. If you had dual nozzle's then it will work out. That's why other people just switch to a trick flow instead. The nozzle must be about 6 inches away from the TB.

One of my friends had to cut the divider out of the elbow. He was melting down a plug everytime he sprayed.
