Im gonna be getting Nitrous soon but I have a couple questions.

Can you fit a 10 pound bottle under the spare tire cover and keep it hidden?

Is it safe from sunlight there? or do you have to remove it if you leave the car in the sun?

I Think I'm going to be using a 150 shot, possibly a dual stage kit. What is the best kit around that size.

I plan getting just about everything. Window switch, remote bottle opener, bottle warmer, the works. How much do I need to budget for the whole setup? Thanks!

 

- yes it will fit
- yes it will be safe, because it wont have a direct contact with the sunlight

- NX is the best kit around, or TNT kit.
- around $1500 for the dual set up. if you wanna get a brand new kit, it might cost more.

I'm kind of new to N2O but I've done alittle research, I went with the NX wet kit then I went with the NOS bottle heater and purge to save alittle money, I put my bottle inbetween the back seats so I didn't need a $250 bottle opener but I did break down and bought a electric fuel pressure guage. you will need some colder plugs and something to retard the timming if your going to spray a 150 spot.

 

I thought the NX kit came with somthing to retard the timing.

 

nope. you have to get some tuning to retard the timing. or get msd 6al

 

does the msd 6al have a built in retard function or do you have to buy a seporate retard box to go with it?

 

A 6AL has no retard feature, and is not for coil pack equipped cars.
