Nitrous and other car parts

I have half bought my nx wet kit from my friend and had a few questions before I make it final... can not having a free floeing exhaust be dangerous with nitrous or just not bring out all the performancve capable and I have an slp clutch with about 10000 miles on it, think it will hold? Starting out with 75 shot moving up later. Also if I have a window switch set below the fuel cutoff of the stock computer do I NEED a mallory or msd ignition box? I dont want it if its not neccissary.

not having a free flowinf exhuast wont hurt it,it just wont let it live upto it's potential. also not dangerous.

Will the clutch hold? only 1 way to find out.

You dont have to run a msd if your window switch is et that way,BUT when you start stepping the shot up,it would be wise to upgrade the ignition.

Also do NOT run platinum plugs,no matter what shot.

Ok thats all very good to know... I am upgrading the plugs wires and getting a coil so at what point would I need to go further? and how far away from teh fuel cutoff should I set the window switch, so if I miss a shift all the nitrous is run through the engine before the fuel cuts off... I have Tuner cat so I can adjust both. Anything I can do with tunercat to help me out? I just got drag radials too so Im mostly worried about the clutch.

I dont use a window switch, cant help ya there.

I would recommend looking into ignition boxe's when you start going over 125 with juice.

I wouldn't worry about the ignition yet. The stock coil puts out lots of spark. Even the aftermarket coils aren't any better than the stock one. Although they might work better with a multiple spark system under 3000rpm. Use the money for a window switch and fuel pressure safety switch.

P.S. - You can set the window switch 100rpm below the cutoff. Just make sure you know where that is.

Ok thanks again for the info, what about retarding the timing? Would I need an ignition box for that? I have tunercat and I can retard timing when it goes into PE mode but that would also effect it when not spraying.
