Which Nitrous kit

97 Camaro:

BBK Shorties to Borla 3 inch exhaust
Everything else is stock.

Which nitrous kit will give me everything I need.

Im looking for a 100-150 shot kit.
Hopefully one that has fuel upgrade stuff also.
Also one that contains a bottle.

What would you all recommend. Please provide Kit numbers please

Re: Which Nitrous kit

I have the NX wet kit on my car. I like it alot better than the nos kit I had on another car. I ended up investing around $1000 on the setup. I bought the basic kit then added the Gen-X upgrades. I also added a pillar pod and a couple of guages. Last added ignition box and window switch to make it safer and more consistant. I have just about everything you can add to a nitrous kit. That $500 dollar kit jumped up to $1000 real quick but I feel safer knowing it will work right everytime. I have yet to do any fuel upgrades. I never go over a 150 shot.

I would recommend this kit. Top quality components at a great price!

Re: Which Nitrous kit

I just bought the NX system. I have not installed it yet, but it seems to be a very high quality product. I bought the e.f.i. system, genx2 upgrade, digital window switch, 2 stage retard, w.o.t. switch, and waiting on the racetronix kit. Like bt96ss said, it adds up quickly. I already had the msd 6al, so I just bought the add on's. However, there are other ignitions that have the window/retard already incorporated into the system. I just went ahead and went the safest way possible. For, in the past, I just slapped something on and boy did I regret that! Check out this link, http://www.rocketworldracing.com/sto...oduct=20920-10 They have great prices and really work with you to identify your needs and budget. They have everything that NX makes. Hope this helps.

All the Dynotune Nitrous kits are rated at the engine. Due to the differences in drivetrain loss from car to car a number at the rear wheels will not be consistant.
