nitrous on heads/cam car...think the stock bottom will take it?

well not just the bottom end but the whole thing for that matter. I occasionally ran a TNT 100 wet shot last summer on my 97 TA with minor bolt ons. since then I have added the mods in my sig(same compression) and was curious if the motor would hold a 100 shot thrown at it. My mind says no way but just thought i would ask.

I am in the same boat. I just installed the cc306, etc... and was planning on spraying later on. Just posted so that I could see what all answers are posted.

You should be fine. I'm running heads, cam, NX 175 shot on a 76k mile stock bottom end LT1.

Interesting very very interesting. they need to make an evil face smiley. So i guess our bottom ends are actually pretty strong huh?

Actually, they should put a sticky up or something in the FAQ. I swear this question is posted 4 times a week by someone different each time. I'm not getting mad at you or anyone else, I mean, if you don't know then you don't know. But they should sticky something answering this question.

As was said, yes, the stock bottom end, whether a stock motor, heads/cam car, or built up stroker, will handle 150-200 max. However the later of the three usually go ahead and put some forged goodies in while everything's apart...

well i apologize for not searching first. it does annoy me when people do the same thing and dont look around first. I will admit that 95% of the time i actually do very thorough searching to make sure i ask the right question and dont make myself look like a tard. was just being lazy and wanted a quick response. thanks for the info.
