OK im goin to be runnin a cc306 on some stock heads/intake bottom end. Ill be runnin a cometic headgasket, and a valvetrain thats up to the task. If i run a 175 shot(at the ground) and tune it on the dyno to keep the a/f around 12.5ish, will it last? Of will thre amount of nitrous im going to have to use be too much for the motor? Also i love to powershift the crap out of the car on spray and thatshow i blew a stock headgasket. I was told that the cometics will be able to handle the abuse. What do u think?

Your on that thin line. A good tune will help. I would richen up the A/F a bit, pull a few degrees of timing. I assume upgraded fuel pump?

I wouldn't put it on the dyno with the assumption "to keep the a/f around 12.5ish".... might not be rich enough. The stoichiometric ratio for nitrous/fuel is only 9:1. Generally you run a bit richer than that with the nitrous portion of the power. Combine a 7:1 N/F ratio with a 12.8:1 A/F ratio, and the resulting mixture will be richer than 12.5:1.
You're walking a delicate balance between A/F ratio and ignition timing. What works will depend on things like coolant/head temps, quench, etc.. I would start with a fatter A/F ratio, then see if you could lean it out slightly, pulling all 8 plugs after every pull. Put a little fat on it, to cover yourself for a bad tank of fuel, excessive coolant or air inlet temps, etc. That bottom end isn't going to tolerate any sort of error.

I agree with the above. I always tuned my nitrous motors to run somewhere in the middle 11's on A/F. As far as upgrading the head gaskets goes, there's a reason the first one blew. Putting in a stronger gasket transfers that problem on to the next weak link, maybe pistons.
