Nitrous on a daily driver--safe?
Nitrous on a daily driver--safe?
How safe is it to run a nitrous system (100 shot) on a daily driven car?
Also, what is safer, wet or dry? Where do most of you guys mount your bottles but still retain area for the t-tops?

Re: Nitrous on a daily driver--safe?
you will be fine. just switch to a colder plug, make sure all your tune-up stuff is up to par. and a wet system is better because you can control the amount extra fuel while spraying. use good gas, 93 or 94. and install it properly with the proper safety extras.

Most of the guys that retain the trunk-space for t-tops put it in the spare tire well.
Wet-kits are much safer and not that much more expensive. With a dry kit you are relying on the MAF and injectors to add more fuel, but the wet kit adds the needed fuel for you.
Get it and you won't regret it
