nitrous
nitrous
i don't have the first clue about nitrous, and am planning on getting a set up in the near future and was hoping someone out there can help me out with some questions.
1. what's the difference between a wet kit and a dry kit nitrous system? and what are the advantages of one over the other?
2. what are those cheater systems or whatnot for?
3. is 120,000 miles too much for 100 shot of nitrous?
4. will nitrous damage my engine? i've heard that nitrous is really bad for an engine in the long run.
that'll do it for now. thanks for any help you can give me.

2. never seen a cheater system for an LT1, those are a type of kits for carbeurated cars unless ive missed something new or am thinking of something different. not sure on that.
3. if you arent burning oil, coolant, etc and your motor doesnt have any problems, then i would think you would be ok.
4. if you dont set it up properly, yes, nitrous can damage your engine. if set up properly its no more stressful than having the extra power NA or through a blower/turbo. In fact it may be less stressful because the power isnt there the whole time, only when you are racing and want it there.
hope that helps.
search for safety items...
n20 is pretty safe and not bad on your engine as long as you use common sense...
get a fuel pressure safety switch, wot switch, window switch.....you'll probably also want a purge kit to show off the nitrous system
