nitrous

Does anyone know how the dry nitrous kits works on a 93 LT1 with no mass airflow sensor? How does it make up for the extra fuel needed?

the kit should have a inline fuel pump with it. a vacuum regulator on the fuel side engages when the nitrous is on and turns the fuel pressure up to 80-90psi to give you the added fuel you need.

keep in mind the high pressure will lock up stock injectors, you need SVO's to be safe.

I disagree a bit. I've been using an NOS dry system on the stock 22lb injectors for a good 5 years now with absolutely no problems. 3 of those years were with the 150 horse jets and the past two have been with 175. No plroblems yet. If anything, the car used to run waaaay rich till I got the pcm programmed.

However,my car does only have 46k on the odemeter so maybe I haven't had any problems cause the injectors are pretty much still new.

If you have a high milage car, your probably better off getting a new set of injectors. On the other hand, if you have low milage like I do, your injectors should be fine.

$200 for a set of better injectors is cheap insurance. all it takes is one time for your stock injectors to lock closed, and BOOM!

i personally would not go with a dry kit and stock injectors.....
