Nitro Daves plate kit and jet sizes

Does anyone have the little sheet that comes with the jets and explains what jets for what size shot? Forgot mine at the shop and theres a good chance the jets are missing in action. So with a little help, I can order some new ones. Thanks, Rick.

Our kits use NX style jets
Bottle pressure 1050psi
Fuel pressure 45psi

Plate Kit Jetting
HP Nitrous Fuel
50----35-----24
100---52-----35
150---62-----38
200---78-----46

We reccomend verifying A/F ratio and tuning to 11.5-11.8 A/F ratio if needed. This can be accomplished by adjusting the fuel jet up or down.

Ray, I have a 62 nitrous and a 41 fuel. With 925psi the A/F flat lined at 10/1. I bump the psi up to 1100. I was wondering if you thought it would still be safe to move down one or two #s on the fuel jet? Or do I have to put it back on the dyno to be sure? Thanks, Rick.

Our baseline jetting is usually on the rich side for the guys that don't verify A/F.

You should have no issue dropping the fuel jet if you were off the chart rich. Increasing the bottle pressure alone will not make a big enough difference in A/F.

One option is to read the plugs right after a nitrous pull. Here is a link to help with reading plugs.

I didn't know that about bottle pressure. And yes, it was off the chart rich. Thanks again.

bottle pressure between 1050-950 will not have a huge impact on A/F...now as it starts to drop below 900psi is when you will really start changing the flow characteristics of the kit. Atomization of the fuel is relying on the nitrous flow to break up the fuel.

This is why I am adding one of the Nano kits to my 94...I currently launch the car at 1100psi after 2 runs or so, my bottle pressure is dropping below 900psi during the run. I still have 4-5# of nitrous left in the bottle but I can't make a full pass. The Nano kit will keep pressure constant throughout the run, and allow me to use the whole bottle.
