WEll I just spent me a bunch of money....I got me a 2800 stall from midwest and purchased an EFI NX wet kit for my little 305 with the works, Purge, Remote Bottle Opener, Bottle Heater, FP saftey switch, NX switch panel, NX electric nitrous gauge, MSD Digital 6 +, MSD digital Window Switch, digital trans temp gauge, Digital A/F gauge, autometer dual gauge pod, single gauge pod.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! All that just to blow my motor...LOL!!!!

My question is, any of you guys with a MAF TPI running an NX wet kit? how did you or where did you put the shark nozzle? Seems like it would be hard in the acordiun(Spellin) boot thingy. Can you post some picture? SO I can see?


Her in the future Im going to be asking alot of question from you guys ttrying to get this stuff work....so bear with me..

i have had plenty set-ups like yours.you are supposed to instal the nozzle after the MAF about 4-6 inches ahead of the TB,looking into the boot when mounting nozzle to be sure it is in-line with the butterflies,on one of my 305tpi cars i used the 150 pills,5-speed,3.45 gears(aussie9),hooker shorties(personal fav. on 3rd gens)flomaster amer.thunder made many mid 12 sec passes on m&h racemasters,i had a 383 sitting ready to go in and blew the 305 up,4500 rpm launch and 5800 rpm shifts.so if you poped the motor on less than 150 you had a motor that was gonna go anyway, considering your tune was safe colder plugs,new cap,rotor,wires, safe timing would have been 6*,and good fuel pressure....

 

thanks for the reply...my motor runs strong right now so Im thinking its gonna be ok......doesnt blow any oil or anything.....I run consistent 9.1's and 14.2's
With an auto I damn sure wont be leaving at 4500...WOW!!!...LOL Ive got the 2800 stall going in too...so I guess I would be leaving at about 3 rand or so...and Im figuring to have it set to sut off at 5000....jus to be safe.

With your TPI car did you have the flex tubing? that you mounted your nozzle on... its not a flat surface so how will it make a good seal?

 

I've got an NOS plate and throttle cable bracket that I will sell since I don't plan on putting the spray on the car anymore.
