Need some Direct port xperts

planning on putting a direct port kit on our T-A.

My question is, can i use the standard holly 4-9 psi regulater
and then use the standard 28 fuel/28 NO2 jets for a 250 shot

Or do i use the Nos recomended 6 sizes smaller fuel jet with this same regulater. And then change to a fuel injected regulater.

I know the kit is rated 8psi fuel pressure, just not sure if i will be able to maintain that pressure with a fuel injected pump do to pressure creep.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I am no expert on this subject but I did a similar thing a few years back and what I found was that the trick to making it work was to split off the fuel supply before the either regulator. When I first set my system up I tried to get my low pressure fuel supply off of the rail and having two regultors working that close together casued the fuel pressure to be eratic on both systems. I called NX and talked to them about it and they had a sceintific name for it and and they said that both regulators were trying to compensate for each other and some systems were more prone to it that others. I simply split my fuel supply line before it ever got to the rail(I split mine under the car on the frame rail about 5 foot before the fuel rail, mainly for ease of getting to the lines) and I never had any more problems with it. Like I said I am no expert, but just giving you my expereinces with a similar set up. I am sure it has a lot to do with what types of regulators you use. Of coure there is always the option of running a dedicated fuel system for your nitrous which if you are going to run a 250 shot would not be a bad idea at all. I don't know how much hp your motor is making but that plus 250 more has go to be pretty close to maxxing out he stock feed line if you are still using it. Thanks

Few details

Oops i forgot a few details,
Right now we have a aeromotive 2000?? i think it is with -10 feed line all the way to the front to a piranah regulater with -10 coming from the regulater to the fuel rail (had a -10 welded to the rail).

i want to split it after the fuel injection reg with a 1/2" BG Y block then go to the rail and the NO2 regulater.

Does anyone see a prob with doing it like this or am i gonna get pressure creep using the 4-9 psi regulater on the NO2 fuel side??

I can drop the line size down to -8 at th Y block going to the NO2 side I think this will help keep pressure up when NO2 is activated.

I've always heard you split it right after the fuel filter in back.
