Unhappy need help... having problems mounting N20 Gauge in gauge pod

i got my autometer gauge and pod used with my NX kit ... and just realized that if i want to mount the gauge in the proper angle .. it wont go into the pod, because after attaching the N2O line to it, it wont fit the pod anymore (the line hits the back of the pod.. unless i turn the gauge upside down)

here are some pictures

I had the same problem the first year, but I lived with the gauge almost upside down. The only thing I could see that would work might be a 45 deg fitting, but I never tried it. I installed the cage and had to move my gauges down to the consul. TTT for ya though and hopefully someone responds who actually did it right.

ok so it's hitting the gauge pod right! ok well off the top of my head i can come up with these ideas.
1. you could drill a hole where the line hits the pod and run the line through the pod and take it to the coner of the piller and cover it with wire lumes.
2. try the 90 degree fitting but i think that it might still hit.
3. not push the gauge in to the pod all the way, you'll have a little gap which you could make a plastic ring to fill the gap.

well thats all i could think of now if i think of anything else i'll respond back

I had the exact same problem with mine, here is your solution. Take one of the silver brackets that comes with the gage and cut it in half. Take that half and shove your gage into the pod and gat the half bracket threaded. As you tighten it it will keep the gage flush. It will gouge the inside of the gauge pod a little on the inside but thats no big deal. when you get it flush you are done, the only bad thing about doing it this way is once the bulb burns out you will have to take it all apart. good luck and let me know if you need any more help then I gave you

I had the same problem I drilled a hole in the back of the pod where the line went in, ran the line down the side of the dash with a peice of black flex tube on it. It looks pretty good I think
