A nitrous jet of .047" would produce 100 horse based on 1000 psi bottle pressure. Use a fuel jet of .027" based on 40 psi of fuel.

A stock fuel pump could easily handle a 100 shot if you're still reasonably stock.

NX' sheet specifies 52/33 for LT1 and 52/31 for LS1. I've found the 33 fuel jet to run pretty rich on my car so I use 31... even tried 28 and that seemed to be perfect--but then you run the risk of a quick drop in FP and super lean.

If you have a new fuel pump and good FPR, with stock engine, I think that 52/31 is about perfect for the LT1. IMHO, of course.

No, not for the regular 100-shot, more as a precaution to a dip in FP while spraying.

I mean, with the leaner fuel jet, a dip in FP will make you go leaner, obviously.

I guess it's not much of a difference. I use the 52/31 (and 52/28) in my car with a stock engine and fuel pump, with no probs yet.

Too lean for too long= a lesson in the fine art of motor rebuilding. You're fuel pressure should be able to hold steady under WOT. If it starts heading downhill during a run, your mixture could lean out.

Would those jets work for the NOS kit also or is it different, because I'm running 46/30 that I thought was 100 shot. Thanks

Different kits use call for different jet sizes for the same hp level. Some are shooting for crank hp, and some for rwhp. Also, different applications run different fuel pressures, so you could see different jet size numbers based on the application. In short, it sounds like the NX kit would actually push a little more power out since they are using a bigger nitrous (and fuel) jet. You could run those jets with no problem.

Is this their dry kit, or is it wet? If it's dry, chances are the fuel jet is different since it works differently than wet kits.

It's a wet kit. I guess I'll call NOS and see what they say for a 125 shot. The motor is on the way out anyway, so might as well see what it can take. Thanks
