Question Necessary items to have for NX?

Hey I was just wondering what the necessary and need to have items are before you can run a nitrous system safely and effectively? If you could make me a list that would be very helpful! Thanks!

I'll take a shot at this...

8 NGK TR6 plugs (colder heat range for nitrous) gapped at .040 - $16
MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wires - $75
MSD Window switch - $75 (not ABSOLUTELY necessary if you watch your RPMs).
Nitrous kit - $500-700

The rest depends on how big of a shot you go with. If it's 100 or more I'd recommend:
1. A bigger or additional inline fuel pump, just to be safe (again, not ABSOLUTELY necessary, but you said safety was your major concern. Some nitrous kits include a fuel pump).
2. Mix in some race gas or get something else to increase the octane rating before your nitrous runs to avoid possible detonation.

That's pretty much it, the rest are nice to have's (bottle heater, purge, remote bottle opener, etc).

black96ws6 hit the nail on the head

but i would go ahead and get the NX Gen III heater kit if you have the money it was worth the money and had all the extras(heater, one that is pressure controlled, purge and blow down tube and all the other extra goodies)

purge/Heater == YES YES YES!

remote bottle opener == not needed, I put mine behind my drivers side seat. ;P little left hand reach around the seat action and boom your on.

Purge

I have a different opinion on the purge...

I don't have a purge due to the fact that I am on street tires, I don't want it to hit hard (which it does anyway). Why would you want an instant hit on street tires (assuming you are not using slicks)?? Bottle pressure can be accuratly controlled with a heater as long as you don't overheat it.
